Prayer, healing, miracles ?

For those of you who weren't at the Rector's Forum this morning at All Saints' Episcopal the topic was prayer.
Many believe it's of more good for the person prayng than for the person or situation prayed for.
Answer to prayer might just be being in the right place at the right time.
Later it made me think of what they say about funerals. Funerals are for the living and not the person being commemorated.
